So, i haven't blogged for a long long while. I am really sorry about that for anyone who's missed me (doubt it) but i've been in a really busy period of exams, house hunting and dealing with bad relationships. I thought i would return to blogging writing about my favourite subject MAKE-UP! I've noticed that when i write makeup posts i tend to use a lot of the same products. Which is odd seen as i have draws and draws of makeup, literally. So i took a much needed trip to town and purchased lots of new makeup to test out and sorted through all my old makeup to see what i've neglected and what i haven't even used yet. Amongst this i have found loads of new products that i have fallen head over heels for. I've narrowed down all my new favourite products to tell you my top new products that I've being using lately. Firstly, because its been exam season I've needed my makeup (if wearing any) to stay on through all my stress, so i needed a great primer. For this my new fav is Benefit Pourfessional. This product is so easily applied and is excellent for my oily skin. Most primers are oily and make your face shine, for myself i already have overly oily, shiny skin so extra is not needed and this primer allows my makeup to stay put for hour and hours.
Prior to finding the REVOLUTION Vivid Baked Bronzer in 'Rock on World' bronzer i would use two different bronzers (for subtle shimmer and depth of contour) and a highlighter but let's face it when you're really busy you don't need to be faffing about with loads of products. This bronzer is shimmery, dark adding depth to my contour and has highlight woven through so i can just wack it on and it works really well for simple contouring. If you have really shimmery or oily skin like myself then you know some setting powders don't completely matte out your skin or half way through the day the oil in your skin comes forward. And although your makeup is still set your skin is shiny, well this product MUA skin define hydro powder really sets your face, keeps all your makeup in place and takes all your shine making your face matte. LOVE IT. A product that i have spoken about before but holds a great place in my heart is the Soap and Glory Archery brow pen. This product is fabulous, it allows you to naturally fill in your eyebrows and then replicate the look of actual hairs for those areas of your brows that aren't as full or have bold spots. A brush that i have loved is the blending sponge brush which is basically a blending sponge on a stick which was £1.50 from Primark and allows me to get into those little areas that a brush can't reach and is great for blending.

A palette that i've loved is REVOLUTION Affirmation. This was £8 from super drug which i think is great considering the amount of colours you get and the quality and range of the eyeshadows are amazing. It is a great palette for all the seasons as it has a range of soft, hard, matte and shimmery colours and can be made up or down depending on the occasion.
I've always struggled finding a good pen eyeliner. I have pot liners and love them but when you need to be ready quickly and have liner that isn't going to go a grey/washed off colour during the day then gel isn't always the best. So a pen product that i've gone back to after trying different liners and not enjoying them, Soap and Glory Supercat pen liner is officially the love of my life. This product is applied easily, comes out jet black and stays on all day. Plus comes off easy when you take it off of a night. A great mascara that i've enjoyed later is the LORD & BERRY mascara which is easily applied and covers the whole lash really making them bold without that horrible clumpy crap everywhere.
For those days when you need your makeup to stay perfect all day and last then this product is the new holy water. elf is a great company that i've used since i first started using makeup and is really high quality. This spray i usually spray twice into the air and walk into it! It really sets my makeup in place and is so lightweight you don't even feel it.
Those are my recent makeup favourites, well the ones that really stand out to me! Also can we just appreciate my makeup bag, PLL for life <3
