Makeup-
So as you may know i am a huge makeup addict so picking my favourite products that i used this year was actually very difficult. I really had to narrow it down and pick the products that i really will bring with me through 2016. So here they are! My first beauty product is the Benefit Porefessional primer, i only got this properly for christmas but i had used a tester during the summer. This is my favourite primer mainly because it helps stop oil coming through your skin and ruining your makeup which i really struggle with. I will 100% be using this during 2016!
Next is the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation! If you read my boo regularly then most of the time i talk about this foundation or use it in a tutorial! The product is a drug store product and quite cheap (£8.99), naturally i have ventured and used different foundations and sometime use different ones depending on what type of coverage i want but time after time i go back to Rimmel Wake Me Up and is my go-to foundation! I LOVE IT.
My next favourite of 2015 is Soap and Glory Archery brow product. I really love this product not only is it really easy to use but it creates such natural looking eyebrows. I will 100% repurchase this if/when it runs out (seems to be lasting forever). Another Soap and Glory product i am bringing into my favourites is their Cat Eye eyeliner which is just the most simple and easy eyeliner to use! We all know how difficult it is to apply the perfect eyeliner but it is made so much easier with this felt pen style product.
Finally, my favourite lip stick of 2015 HAS TO BE Rebel by MAC. I love a good dark lip and Rebel is the most amazing shade of purple that looks incredible on. I have been wearing this so much ever since i purchased it in April and will re purchase until the day i die and i will wear it to my funeral.
Brushes-
Makeup would be useless without the right tools to apply it perfectly. As always i really love the Real Techniques brushes i think they are such good quality and such good pricing. But 2015 being the year of the contouring i feel it only right that i talk about my favourite blenders. Real Techniques blending sponge is my favourite especially when trying to get that strong jaw line or cheek bones. Primark also do a great version of this a beauty sponge but in brush form (makes sense if you saw it) which works amazing when blending and contouring those hard to reach spots. Amazon sell the most AMAZING foundation brushes ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fashion-Professional-10PCS-Black-Makeup-Brushes-Eyeshadow/dp/B00LA98H64/ref=sr_1_7?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1451145066&sr=1-7&keywords=makeup+brushes ) which last so long and do an aiming job at applying foundation or blending in. I highly recommend these to everyone.
Music-
2015 has been a big year for music. Even though to my utter heart break Zayn left 1D and they announced a break, One Directions 'Made in the AM' album makes it onto my favourites. You're probably thinking i'm bias and i only put this in here because i am a One Direction Mega fan but obviously yes. I am a mega fan but this is a great album and being a mega fan i am obvs going to put it into MY favourites. I just think compared to their other albums it is very mature and grown up and the songs are so catchy and beautiful (especially when you think of Harry Styles singing them to you over a moonlit dine. anyway....). After a bad few years of being a little shit Justin Bieber returned with his album 'Purpose' which has broken through the norm of being relatable to his young girl fans but everyone seems to be singing his songs and enjoying them. The song 'purpose' on his album has to be my favourite it has such a strong beautiful message.
Clothing sites-
This isn't something i really ever blog about but i actually am a compulsive buyer, like really badly. Two sites that i have LOVED this year have to be ASOS and Etsy. Asos is my life, it is my soul (see I'm extreme when it comes to shopping). The site has amazing deals constantly, has items from loads of other brands and sites so you don't have to spend hours looking through hundreds of sites you can just go to Asos and look there and get what you want. They also have this great deal where you pay around £9 and for a whole year you get free next day delivery, which is soooo good especially when you have a last min event coming up, this free next day delivery has saved my skin so many times this year! Etsy is a small site/app that sells merchandise, gifts, art, clothing etc... and i loved using this for peoples presents and christmas because you can get things hand made from different independent sellers in the uk. If you want to get something for someone or yourself it is brilliant especially if you want a product that is from a specific tv show or band. GREAT FOR FANGIRL MERCH.
Apps-
My iPhone is my baby and sadly i am on my phone a lot which i want to cut down massively in 2016 but one app which has made capturing memories, sharing moments so much easier is snapchat which makes it my favourite app of 2015. If you don't know what snapchat is GO GET UNDER A ROCK. I love it especially because i can send pictures to my friend who lives in Australia as message and texting either costs or doesn't work.
Fragrance-
I just realised i don't blog about fragrance very much which i should do more. My favourite perfume that i used this yea was Versace Red Jeans. I'd used this on the odd occasion in previous years but this year i got it as a present when my parents went on holiday. It has been an every day scent i use and something that i always keep in my bag. When i don't wear this or if I've been to the gym i pray Soap and Glory body spray which is glorious! it smells amazing and so candy like.
Electronics-
With it being the year of the selfie stick i thought that i would talk about my favourite electrical. Fujifilm instal is deffo one of my favs for this year. I have loved being able to take photos on my polaroid camera and being able to decorate both my room at home and my room at uni with my pictures.
Books-
Again if you read my blog (which you are now) then you will know that over the summer i was sucked into the world of 50 shades of grey and how much i fell in love with the books. I would re read them i would but i know once i start i can't stop! If you want a good book series then i recommend these books even if you are put off by what you've heard about it, read it because it seriously is not at all what people say about it.
Films-
This has been a great year for films but my favourite films of 2015 have been Avengers Age of Ultron, The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 and 50 shades of grey. Being a huge DC and Marvel fan, Avengers Age of Ultron was the best release of the year, with such an amazing storyline, great characters and Chris Hemsworth (seriously wow). The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 was such good finale to the series, i hadn't read the books and for my friends who have they enjoyed it too. If you haven't seen this film or the series YOU NEED TO IT IS AMAZING.
Tv shows/boxsets-
As a huge activist of Netflix and lying in bed doing nothing all day so the favourites of all the tv shows and box sets that i have indulged in this year are PLL EVERY DAMN TIME! Jessica Jones, Parks and Recreation, US office. Pretty Little Liars i watched twice through this year, it is the most indulging show I've ever watched. I love this show and could talk about it til the cows come home, watch it on netflix it is a must. Jessica Jones isa superhero based tv show on netflix that has the beautiful David Tennant in, i binge watched this show and would recommend it highly. As for The US Office and Parks and Recreation they are both US comedies that i love to whack on odd episodes when i want cheering up. They are truly uplifting shows that really cheer me up.
Thanks for reading my 2015 favourites. Have a happy 2016!
