The Christmas Market in Nottingham city centre is small but festive. I visited the market with my flat as a christmas outing before going back home for the month. The market in Nottingham square was a small imitation of the German Market that i have back in Birmingham. The market stalls are small and sell christmas treats like chocolate apples to small trinkets to give to people as presents. If I'm honest the markets were disappointing compared to the huge markets at home, the minimalistic stalls didn't offer much. The ice skating rink was small but cheery with families and couples skating around and watching people fall over was quiet amusing. However, the square market may not offer much but Nottingham City Centre as a whole is great for christmas shopping and the festive season. During the festive season Nottingham is a great place to be, the hundreds of shops offer personalised and unique gifts. Overall, Christmas in Nottingham is small but sweet and has got me well and truly in the festive spirit. |
