Wales is beautiful. Myself and my flatmate Helen decided to go to Wales, the valley of Rhondda, to visit our flatmate Emily who lives there. The trip started with a train delay on sunday morning and the two of us sitting under a shelter whilst it rained at the station. Regardless to this bad start we ventured on the three hour journey to Cardiff Central, travelling though my home town Birmingham and seeing Cadbury world which i see out of my bedroom window every morning at home. Arriving in Wales we met up with Emily and her father and travelled in the car to the stunning Valleys which we were to stay in. The views were breath-taking, the streets were so cute and dainty and overall stunning. After settling down, meeting Emily's family and playing with the famous dog Barney: We travelled up the Valley to see the amazing view from the top. In my pictures down below you should agree how amazing it looks. Especially for somebody who lives in the second city Birmingham it was such an amazing sight something so different, so strange for me to think somebody could see all this every day. Don't get me wrong Birmingham is stunning and i wouldn't change it for the world. After dinner we went to a Welsh local pub to have a drink, what i enjoyed most was spending time with my two friends without the small rooms of University Halls and somewhere where we could sit and relax. We then ventured to the next pub where we met two of Emily's friends. They were so lovely and had an amazing night full of laughter and happiness.
The second day started with going for a long walk along the Swansea cliffs and going to a beautiful beach. It was truly beautiful i loved being able to wake up, get dressed and go to a beach. It was so strange for me but the most amazing thing to do. We then all went to a beautiful little village had lunch and bought a tourist Welsh flag magnet for my parents because i am the greatest at presents. As we were all tired we slept on the journey back to the Rhondda Valley's and then stayed in and relaxed in her house with her family.
The next day myself and Helen travelled home to our home towns, mine was the two hour journey from Cardiff to Birmingham New Street.
An amazing two days, incredible experience and i cannot wait to return hopefully this summer.
