My first winter favourite is the Zoella Makeup bag. The reason why i chose this product is because the bag is the perfect size for my every day makeup and it also fits in my handbag perfectly. As a student i travel a lot and making sure i can have my makeup in my travel bag is important. The bag is great quality, the zip is of high quality, the bag is trusty and the perfect size for my daily products. Secondly, the bag has a unique design. its quirky and cute, something that i am not embarrassed to get out in public. The bag overall as a product is the best makeup bag i've used in many years and will be sticking with it. Plus Zoella is one of my favourite you tubers so its nice to feel like I'm supporting somebody who blogs like myself. The second product that i've enjoyed this winter are Ebay natural strip eyelashes. These lashes are great because they have a thin strap line that is rope like so it is easy to shape to your eye. The thin line is great as it doesn't show off the fact i am wearing lashes and often don't need eyeliner to try and cover the start and end point to the lashes. Plus the cost of the lashes are amazing! They are £1-£2.50 for ten pairs of lashes, which is great for me as a student compared to the cost of lashes which is normally £5 for one pair of lashes. Cost as a student is important especially as i mainly wear lashes on a night out which most likely ends up in me ripping off my lashes before crawling into bed. These lashes can be used many times if taken care of, but its nice to be able to be clumsy with them knowing that i'm not wasting a bundle of money. Speaking of lashes, i have being loving Ebay individual lashes. They are great because they cost the small cost of £1.59 for over 60 lashes. The product are easily applied and if used carefully could last for at most a week. The product is great as i can wear them day to day and they look as if i have naturally long lashes. The enjoy these as i can wear them with natural makeup. Onto lip products, The MAC lipstick in shade cremesheen speak louder. As most women know MAC lipsticks are slightly on the pricey side of around £16. However, i think this lipstick is well worth the money. The shade is great, the lip colour moisturises my lips, stays on my lips for up to 4 hours and the lipstick lasts for ages as i have had this product for 10 months and i still have 60% of the lipstick left. My other favourite lip product is the Clinque lipstick in a different grape. The colour is dark purple which is a colour i like to wear a lot, especially during autumn and winter. The lipstick is moisturising and stays on my lips for well over 4 hours. The product is quite pricey and the product was a gift so i wouldn't be able to say the price. I love the colour and goes so well with so many of my makeup looks. My favourite Winter Bronzer is the Bourjois 'Delice de poudre'. The product is valued at £8 and is sold in drugstores. The product is great for all over bronzing for a light brown glow and subtle contouring. The product on the inside looks like a chocolate bar which makes me automatically attracted to it. The product is high quality and is given in high volumes, it has lasted me all of winter and doesn't show any signs of breaking or emptying soon. My one and only favourite foundation is the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation in True Ivory. The product is £7.99 and lasts me around a month to two months with me using the product pretty much everyday. The foundation is not matte but only slightly shiny giving me a subtle glow. The colour matches my skin perfectly, i don't need to put lashings on and it gives me great coverage that lasts all day. I have repurchased this foundation many times over the year and it has given me no cause to stop using it. It is high quality, perfect for my skin, lasts all day and great price for a student like myself. My hair favourite is a recent purchase but i have being loving it, The CO LAB Tokyo Dry Shampoo is valued at £2.50. The product has a great smell and when used doesn't leave a dusty white colour on your scalp. The dry shampoo is in a big bottle so you get a lot of use out of it and only a small amount to your hair makes it feeling clean and fresh. The product is great for me as my scalp can easily get greasy and my hair has to be washed every day due to its condition. The product comes in different smells and ranges which i cannot wait to try out. The packaging is modern and attracts the eye of people my ages, also the high quality and volume for £2.50 is great. i highly recommend this item. My first eye product in my favourites is the Soap and Glory Supercat eyeliner. This is by far the best eyeliner i have used in years. The pen like product allows complete control over the thickness/thinness of the line. The liquid also comes out clean and in great consistency, the eyeliner always looks sleek and to perfection. The product is around £6 but has lasted me quiet a while and is still proving to be a great eyeliner. The item is great for its value and i will definatly be repurchasing. This next eye product is something that was given to me as a tester. The Benefit They're Real Mascara is retailed at £19.50 which before using this product seemed way too much. However, after using this tester i have found it to be the best Mascara product i have ever used, it is light, a dark black colour which covers my blonde lashes perfectly, it doesn't clump and is daily taken off as it doesn't dry into a dry crumbly fixture which most mascaras do. Over the years i have tried and tested many mascara products and i have never found a mascara that i have loved so much. Although it is only a tester the mascara has lasted me over two months and it hasn't dried-up and is still giving me perfect consistency every day i use it. Although i think £19.50 is a lot to pay for a mascara i believe for the quality of the product it is well worth it and i will be paying that much for it when i run out of my tester. As you can see this next product is old and battered but it is my all time favourite makeup product. This product is no longer on sale unfortunately but as one of my first ever makeup products i still cling onto it with dear life. The Bed Head Campagne glitter eyeshadow is the best product i own. The eyeshadow stays on all day and gives a nice glittery bronze shade to my eyelid. I often use this eyeshadow all around my eye and it gives me a great eye look for natural and done up makeup. I love this eyeshadow and i would purchase this over and over again if i could. The eyeshadow has lasted me for four years and although it is getting to its last fines i think i should have it for another year at most. Finally, I would like to find a product like this as i have tried many but none have lived upto the standards. |
Last but not least are three palettes which i have loved the past few weeks. The Revolution palette in Hot Smoked £6, The Revolution RUN BOY RUN palette £8 and the MUA £4 Twelfth Night palette are my favourites for december. They are available for super drug. The three palettes are great quality, very cheap and last all day. The eyeshadows themselves are great colours and easily transferable to the eyelid, the last all day and are no powdery in the way that they cover your cheeks when applied.
The colours range from natural looks to glamorous and going out. I highly recommend Revolution and MUA as makeup brands as they may be very cheap but they do not cut out on quality. I love using these brands, i have two friends who study in makeup and they both use the makeup brands themselves. As a student these prices are great and i have over 7 different MUA palettes which i use extensively.
