I know we are already into 2014 quite a bit but i really wanted to share my 2014 favourites as many of these i will be using during 2015. Firstly, My FujiFilm Instax camera that i got for christmas. This camera is great for capturing the moment and great fun for me especially being a student. The camera is polaroid and once the photo is taken it is printed out of the camera which i love because i can have a photo taken and put straight onto my uni wall. I am really enjoying this camera lately. The negatives of this camera is that you take the photo and it is printed you don't get the chance to take it again if you don't like the picture. Also the paper for the camera is quite expensive. It works out as a pound a photo so if you accidentally take a photo then a pound is wasted. But overall i love the retroness of the camera and really enjoyed it at the end of 2014 and coming into this year. Secondly, My Macbook. I know that this laptop is expensive and the only reason i have it is because i wanted the best type of laptop for university and the laptop is great for my journalism course. The laptop is 11" which is quite small but it is the perfect size for me, it fits perfectly in my handbag and is great for travelling back and forth from uni and Birmingham. The laptop itself is great, it is very fast and has so much room to store all the work i have, all my photos and pictures. Also being an apple product it connects great to my iPhone and my iPad. I love this product it'll last me a long time. The next thing is Netflix. I love Netflix it has definetly my saviour at university. At university i have a lot of time where i am in my room with nothing to do and due to not have access to a tv i need somewhere to watch tv and box sets. Netflix is great as it has lots of box sets for me to binge watch and old films that i haven't watched in years. Although it i £6 a month i highly recommend netflix and it is worth the money for sure. Next are my two favourite albums from 2014. 'Now thats what i call Disney' is a four disk album with over 100 disney songs. As a huge Disney fan this is a great album for me to listen to and dance around to. It has all the best songs from the best Disney films and includes songs from Hannah Montana. The album also has Disney christmas songs which combines my two favourite things, Disney and Christmas. Highly recommend the album to any Disney fans. The second album is the "Wicked' soundtrack. This year i went to see Wicked at the theatre and i truly loved it, Wicked is by far one of my favourite musicals so the soundtrack is perfect for me. Plus the west end queen Indina Menzel is the singer for Elphaba and Kristin Chenoweth as Galinda which makes the album even better. My favourite book from 2014 is 'The Fault In Our Stars' by John Green. The book is an amazing unique story with a heartbreaking twist. If you haven't read this book you are seriously missing out, The film is amazing but the book isso much better in the little metaphors and the thoughts that are put into each moment between the two leads. I have read the book over and over and it never fails to please me. Next, The selfie stick. Although it seemed everyone got a selfie stick for Christmas but this was a Secret Santa present and i love it so much. The selfie stick is the best thing for me because i love a good selfie, selfie's are life. The selfie stick is great because it allows me to get a selfie with all my favourites and my loved ones. All in all an amazing present. £4 amazon. |
