I thought i'd share with you two looks that i put together and wore during Christmas. The looks were for two occasions, the first for drinks with my friends and the second was for a night out with my friends up town. Both styles are easily transferable to different occasions plus they can be replicated easily with your own clothing. For hair for the first night i washed my hair, blow dried my curtains and then, still wet, i put the rest of my hair into two plates. I then put the hair dryer over the plates until they were part dry, the hair was then left for a few hours until i had finished my makeup. The plates give the curly, wavy effect on your hair without it looking too styled and crinkly. For my outfit i wore a simple cross-line black and white cami top with High waisted skinny jeans and simple chunky heeled boots. This outfit could be changed with any similar clothing you have. I liked this outfit as it was very simple and casual but the heels give the effect of being dressy. cami- Asos £7 jeans- Debenhams £17 shoes-Asos £35 |
This second look was one that i wore on a night out to a club for my best friends birthday. I wore a simple black high necked cami with a high waisted A-Line leather navy skirt with plain black chunky heels and a long line pink jewelled necklace. I loved this outfit as it allowed my arms and legs to be out but with my chest, stomach and thighs covered. Although wearing dark colours the outfit is broken up with the different textures, silkiness of the cami and shininess of the leather skirt. When going out i like to be able to dance and move around in comfort, the length of the skirt doesn't make me feel uncomfortable and the low style of the shoes allow me to be comfortable for the whole night. I wore my hair in curtains, straight but slightly backcombed to give it that extra bit of volume. cami- Asos £10 skirt- Missguided £12.99 shoes- Asos £35 |
