For anyone who has been living under a rock for the last couple of years, Pretty Little Liars (PLL) is a show about a friendship group who are blackmailed after the disappearance of their friend Alison. I am writing this post because lately this show has become the object of everyones attention. PLL is on Netflix which makes watching the show easier. For somebody who has watched many amazing box sets i can honestly say it is one of the best things i have watched lately. Despite its exterior the show doesn't revolve around the typical lives of teenage girls but rather everything that can and will happen and even more. The show deals with typical teenage issues such as family issues, relationships, stress, education and fashion. Mixed within this is the mysterious A, who has been texting the four girls since the body of their missing friend was found a year from her disappearance. The main storyline follows the girls truing to find out who the elusive A is. This show is heart throbbing, enchanting and most of all the most stressful thing you will ever watch. Personally i ruined the show for myself as i read what happens in the books online as i was unable to sleep due to the running questions of who A is in my mind. However, the most stressful of all is that the show isn't sticking to the books so i will never be able to find out who A is before the shows air. Plus the fact that the show is mid way through season 5 and the finale of the show won't come about until 2017. Two years!!! TWO YEARS i have to wait until i finally have peace over what happened to the girls. Amazing show but it has brought so much added confusion to my busy life. And finally, the makeup. I am obsessed with makeup as most of you know. But the amount of times i have has to rewind on the show because i was staring at the makeup of the main girls to actually watch the show. Great show, highly recommend. |
