Don't get me wrong, i love being at home for christmas. However, there is some weird feeling following me, the feeling that i should be packing all my stuff up to go back to Nottingham. I am in the mind set of student living still, being at home for this long period of time feels abnormal. Plus, i am completely bored. the first week was great, i was overwhelmed with seeing everyone i hadn't seen since moving to Nottingham. But now the hustle and bustle is over and everyone has caught up with me, i'm bored. At university you don't get the opportunity to be bored because you're never alone. There is always work to do, people to gossip with and friends who are willing to sit and watch a movie with you. At home it's too hard to get a hold of friends and family because everyone is busy with the christmas buzz. i have really enjoyed spending time with my brother, his girlfriend and my little niece Poppy and meeting up with my friends. I have had a great chance to meet up with those who didn't fit into the weekend trips home. Don't get me wrong i love being at home, i love the free food and the washing. Spending time with everyone has being amazing but i just feel as if i cannot settle in. i am very excited to get back to university to catch up with all my flatmates. |
