Although i am very sad autumn has gone and along side it the beautiful makeup that came along with it! But winter is a great time to wack out the red lipsticks and light blushers. Because it's so cold outside nature gives a lot of colour to your face. So i have been putting on little makeup and really putting most of my detailed attention towards my eye makeup.
My first makeup look is quite a bronzed contoured look that i went for with a thin liner and bold brows (i will do a contouring tutorial v soon). For foundation i used Rimmel Wake me up in ivory (use the colour that matches your skin tone) i applied this all over my face using the Real Techniques buffing brush. For base contouring i used Rimmel Wake me up in true ivory (one shade darker than your usual foundation) and applied this to my cheekbones, jawline and down the sides of my nose. To base highlight i used Rimmel hide and blemish concealer (any light conceal or will do) and then buffered that in lightly using a clean buffing brush. To add to the contouring, over where i put the dark contour lines i applied st.moriz light bronzing powder to those areas to define it more, i then used Bourjois bronzing powder to the very top of my cheekbones. For highlight on top of my cheekbones i used revolution highlight palette. For brows i combed through my eyebrows with a generic eyebrow brush and then to fill in my brows i used Soap and Glory Archery. For my eyes i used one all over light brown colour Fade from the MUA Ever After palette and blending in the edges. under my eye i used Fog to make my blue eyes pop and for under brow highlight i used a white eyeshadow as a thin line under my eyebrows. (i am also doing a blog post on how i do my eyebrows soon). For eyeliner i made a small line coming from the side of my eye and then joining it back through and along my eye line, making it as close to my eyeline as possible and as thin as possible. For mascara i used MAC waterproof eyelash mascara and eyeliner i used EXTREME Collection eyeliner. For my lips i just used a purple lip liner all over my lid, sometimes pure lip liner on the lips can work better to simplify a makeup look as they can look so natural and stay on all day. For this look i used collection Velvet Beige.

For my second look i went for simple makeup but with a bold orange lid.
This is a real go-to makeup look especially when I'm going to uni! First of all i started with foundation, for this i used Nars sheer glow buffering that into my skin using Real Techniques buffing brush. I didn't do a base contour for this look i just used two types of bronzer and a highlighter. Before applying those i set my foundation using Rimmel Wake me up stay matte powder, if you want to apply concealer for spots etc you can but i didn't need it. For contouring i just sucked in my cheeks and added a slightly shimmery bronzer ST MORIZ light bronzer to the areas that go in on your cheeks, i do this in a line going from my ear to about 5cm before my lips. Then onto of that i added a matte bronzer to the top part of where i applied the other bronzer using Bourjois Bronzer. On top of that i added a small amount of highlight from the Revolution Highlight Palette. As always i filled in my brows using Soap and Glory Archery, just going over my natural brows. For my eyes i took Oudh from the MUA Twelfth Night palette, putting this all over my lid and then blending it in around the crease. Applying mascara doesn't really need an explanation, for this i see Clinique black mascara. For lips i used a very light pink lip liner, adding vaseline over the top for a really nude basic look.

Thirdly i went for a darker look, with strong brows and a dark khaki eye. Before applying my foundation i used MA setting spray to keep everything on all day. For foundation i used Rimmel Wake me up foundation in ivory and setting it all in place with Kiko setting powder. I then applied a line of Rimmel wake me up foundation in true ivory to my cheek bone buffering that in with a beauty blender (real techniques). I then used The collections Baked bronzer onto of the contour line to eventuate it more. No need for a highlighter as the bronzer is shimmery, but if you want a really blowy face go for it!!!! I DON'T JUDGE! I also don't recommend a strong blusher just because going out in winter will make your cheeks go red naturally, but if you're staying in go for it! Again i filled in my eyebrows with Soap and Glory Archery using an eyebrow brush to brush through my brows to make them look naturally thick and beautiful. Adding a white eyeshadow under the lid and blending it in to sharpen my brows. For eyes i applied Will you be my boy from the Revolution RUN BOY RUN palette all over the lid blending it in on the crease, then applying the same colour under my eye and applying some pencil black liner to my inner eye to make the eyes as dark and bold as possible! I didn't apply eyeliner as i thought it may be too much for in the day but can look great for christmas parties or drinks! GO 4 IT! For mascara i applied MAC waterproof mascara all over both top and bottom lashes. For lips i put on a plain pink lipstick, no liner needed as i wanted a really soft natural lip nothing too heavy because the eyes are so bold.
